Leg cramps during the night

Hello everyone. I recently received my Halo and I’ve been experimenting with different programs. I’m learning to be patient, as I’ve not felt any results so far. This could partially be due to a very grotty cold that I’m currently living with.

My question is, I’ve had the Halo for 3 days and tried 3 different sleep cycles (I/II/Loud). Each night I’ve woken a few times with leg cramps and they’ve been getting worse. I do get leg cramps quite often so I’m not blaming the Halo for them, but wondering if there’s a program for leg cramp relief- especially for night time.

Thanks in advance

Hi  first of all, it’s completely okay to take things slowly in the beginning. Many people need a little time to get familiar with the Halo and notice what feels supportive for their body, especially if they’re already run down or fighting a cold.

For the nighttime leg cramps, you may want to explore:

  • Muscle Discomfort (P)

  • Muscle and Tendon (P)

  • Blood (P)

Since you mentioned the cramps are happening more at night, you could also try simplifying things for a couple of evenings rather than rotating many sleep programs back-to-back while your body is already stressed.

Hydration and minerals/electrolytes can also be important with leg cramps, especially during illness.

We’d suggest keeping it gentle for now and observing how your body responds over the next several days.
