Really? Last time I downloaded within the last week they are all mixed up in Halo. Is they a button to click to alphabetize the list inside the device?
Keeping the order is not that easy as there can be gaps between programs which are not visible in halo’s list. If you delete a program from halo, its slot will be marked empty, and if that was in between two other programs, a program added later will be sent to fill the gap.
If you delete all programs (shortcut is to hold Shift or Alt/Opt while pressing the delete button), programs will be added in the order they are sent.
Build 228 adds two new preference checkboxes to sort programs on halo and inside the library alphabetically. While library changes will be reflected immediately, sorting on halo will appear once you add or delete at least one program.
I just managed to do the update after trying different order of plugging in and my computer saying I wasn’t ADMIN! It worked but the Spiritual and Physical items on the right side don’t go alphabetically nor does my personal list. It may sort itself Ill let you know.
Admin access rights are necessary for the internal updater, but not the general functionality of the app. That‘s why the app offers you to restart in Admin mode when an update has been found. You can also set it permanently to be run with elevated rights when you set the appropriate file property in File Explorer.
Alphabetic sorting is an optional feature that must be enabled in preferences accessible via the menu bar. Sorting on halo will only appear once you delete or add at least one program.
