Please do not base your evaluation of popular/efficient programs on this:
Which programs you’ve favorited.
Which programs you have run
How long you ran the programs.
We are all new to this and having fun testing out programs - based on pure ‘experimenting’ rather than ‘systematic analyzing’. We all have different needs. It is impossible to base your future programs on the above 3 points! This simply does not make sense and is grossly inaccurate.
However, I can understand that if your professional team, through rigorous testing, decide that a program is underperforming, therefore needs to be removed or updated. Now that makes sense.
Yeah I don’t use the favoriting feature, plus I only plug the Halo in when I need a new program. So, they don’t get much data from me…
I do happen to use the one of the eye programs they removed. It would be really nice if they bring back a version for eye health and add a cataract setting.
As always, John, you and your team go above and beyond!
I notice on AHA log-in today that Distance and Near Vision are back. Excellent!
Could we get the Team coder (please tell me that’s not you! LOL) to give us a pop-up or announcement on log-in to advise what programs have been added or revised?!
Let’s not criticise a new product. This technology is new and emerging, especially in association with this particular device. Would you rather waste time cycling a program that may be suboptimal in its present form? The removed programs will come back in time after further design and experimentation. My suggestion is to be happy with the many other programs available for now
Hi John
I see the programs are back. I also noticed the length time is different. Does this mean the programs have been updated and we should switch to these new programs?
Thanks
Laurie
The new eyesight programs are protein-based. Protein programs are very effective, as evidenced by members in the Spooky forum. Results for the eyesight programs will take a while to be seen (was that an unintended pun?) but they should be good for most people.
Be careful of the eyesight program you choose. Near Vision is for Myopia, and Distance Vision is for Hyperopia.

Hi John, the names of the vision programs seem confusing to me; I am using the original Near Vision Support program. From the name of the program, I assumed that this was going to help my presbyopia, by improving my near vision.
But from what you wrote above, that program is for myopia! That is counter-intuitive, really!
I know that the name of the program has now been changed to Near Vision and the program length is also different. I haven’t downloaded it yet, not knowing what it will actually do.
We need to be certain of what each program is actually doing, because we don’t want to unknowingly become beta-testers obviously. I checked the pdf titled “aha programs explanation” for a description, but the vision programs are not even listed there.
By the way, in the aha software on our computer, the precise description of each program should be instantly available either by double-clicking the program name, or by any other simple method.
Could you please ask the programmer to check this and rename the vision program to something that accurately corresponds to the health condition it will address, and then reload it in the app.
Thanks for your support, and also thanks for the interesting document you posted on Protein Synthesis!
Hi John,
Thank you for the details.
Could you just confirm there is no mistake in your post please ?
Near Vision => Myopia
Distance Vision => Hyperopia
My logical would say the opposite, that’s why I would like to be sure.
And the program description says :
Near Vision => Helps reduce eye strain from close-up tasks for clearer vision.
My English is not so good and that’s a bit difficult to understand these 2 program descriptions.
It would also be important to assure ourselves to use the correct words to describe farsightedness, as there is a difference between presbyopia and hyperopia, the first being caused by a loss of elasticity in the eye’s lens due to age, and the second being caused by a deformation of the shape of the eye, not age-related.
