After updating the database, due to the new peptide programs, it is empty

After receiving email announcement about the new series of peptide programs, I want to download it. At first I did not find them. Then, after pressing alt+ clicking on “Software Update”-icon, the database shown is empty. The picture below is how the screen looks like after the database update

There is a software update available which should fix this issue. If not, try to re-download the new database again with another Alt-click on Software Update.

If I try to update the software, it says that I already have the most up to date version. I had tried re-downloading the new database several times with no result. I also quit and restart the program several times: No positive result

There is supposed to be new peptide programs announced. But even with the latest version (always a pain to update) I see NO peptide programs anywhere. Does somebody know ? Thank you.

I have to download the latest software directly from Ahaharmony website. My Halo program does not always update software and continues to show that its up to day (which it isn’t). In the Aha program, click on File, then choose “About Aha Halo” to see the program version you have. The latest version is 1.4.0.271. It still does not have the new Peptides though.

Same here. I click Update, going through that “restart as admin”, click on Update again, but nothing! Restart the program several times and it keeps saying that there is an update. After several tries, the JW peptides list showed up (with no header) but the software says that it still needs Update! Finally I downloaded the software manually, installed it and now the list shows correctly and no more annoying popups.

The Aha Halo software is glitchy. It always was from its inception and nobody bothered to fix it.

It’s now solved. Today, when starting the software, it recognized that it isn’t up to date, so I had the opportunity to update it to the newest version. After the update everything went smooth and the JW peptides list does appear in the databases and I was able to download some to my device.

I just updated the SW, but can’t find peptides. What category are they supposed to be in?

Press alt and click “Software Update”-icon at the same time to update the database. The JW Peptides category is in the upper left. You’ll immediately see it.

If the update feature doesn’t work (it happens a lot), go to the main Aha Halo site (https://www.ahaharmony.com) put the mouse pointer over “Programs” and from the drop-down pick “Software Download”. Double-click on the downloaded executable and install it. It always is the newest version. In fact, don’t bother again with the buggy “Update available” popup, just click on “Remind me latter” (or whatever it says), turn off Aha halo program, download manually and install.

Well I re-downloaded the SW and there is still no visible Peptide program. there is nothing in the upper left. Would you be kind enough to take a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Posting how it looks like won’t help you. Make sure your software is of this latest version: 1.4.0.271 . If it isn’t read Argyrios latest message on how to update to the latest version. If it isn’t visible yet, redownload the database with alt+ click on “Software Update”-icon.

I am running aha halo 1.4.0 (1.4.0.271). I am on a Mac, this is the latest completely fresh download and I still cannot see the Peptide program. So please, if it isn’t too much trouble, a screenshot of what it is would be helpful.

No, really, you should immediately see it if it were there. Posting how it looks like (nothing helpful) won’t help. It’s best you now go to the helpdesk Contact us - Aha Harmony and tell them of your problem.

That worked. Loaded the P updates. Thank you!

imageDear, before I help you solve the problem, I just want to confirm if you downloaded this version.

I said it above TWICE- I downloaded a fresh copy. I am running the latest version. I am up to date.

As a general rule: In case of a missing database entry, re-installation of the software does not help. Programs are independent from the application. So if you are running build 271, no need to reinstall it trying to fix the peptides.

Just checking if you tried a forced download of the database holding the Option key (Alt on Windows) while clicking on “Software download”.

If that does not fix the situation, quit the app, locate the database inside your user’s library folder/Application Support/com.clen/ahaHalo/ahaHalo.sqlite and delete it. Run the app again and if still no peptides, hold the Option key again and click on Update.
If still no success, locate the log file inside the aforementioned folder and send it to user support.

Hooray! This step worked. On a Mac, hold down the Option key and click on Software Update. While the message “Your software is already up to date” will appear, so will the JW Peptide category on the top left. Not sure why a forced download step was necessary while a complete re-install of the software did not work, but this is an issue for the tech department to fix.

In Aha Halo, the peptide programs arrived on January 19 or 20, 2026, just after John White great talk on peptides.
