When clicking on “Software Update” on left side menu, a pop-up appears saying that you have the latest update or whatever. This pop-up shows up on the lower part of the screen and the OK button is not visible, it is behind the Taskbar. This, however, could be my screen’s resolution issue. Anyway, the Aha program cannot be shut down or click on any other option until the OK is pressed on the pop-up. Solution is to either use the Windows Task Manager to end the Aha program or “Hide” the task bar in order to see the OK button.
Is it possible to make the pop-ups drag-able so we can move them around or, at least, make them show up a little higher.
Also, except for the Home and Language icons, all others are inoperable.
Thanks.
Did you contact the support team directly with this issue? It would be good if you could send them a screenshot together with a short description.
What is your screen resolution? The application demands a minimum resolution of 800 x 700 pixels, but maybe the developer team has to take special care of window sizes and positioning in the case of very small displays.
If the icons appear to be non-operational, there could be an issue with WebView2 on your computer. You could either try to (re)install it from Microsoft directly or change the preferences of the application to use the system’s browser.
My screen resolution is 2580 x 1080.
With the new Aha software update I can now see the OK button on the pop-up.
The links on the left side menu still don’t work but they do if I choose to use the system’s browser.
This still sounds like a WebView2 issue. Did you try to install it manually? If still no luck, you could send a log to the Support team to investigate your computer issues.
I don’t really know what WebView2 is. A quick search shows that it is something associated with Microsoft Edge which I do not use. I use Firefox. Ticking the “Use system browser for website content” works fine for me.
You found out absolutely correctly: WebView2 is a system extension by Microsoft that enables Edge support on Windows for every application. It should be installed by default on most current Windows systems and otherwise by halo’s installer, but in rare occasions this doesn’t work. If it works for you by using the external browser, everything is fine except for the application should theoretically detect a missing WebView2 extension and use the system browser by default.
Hi Argyrios,
Where is that Button/Icon in the AHA Software to click on? I do have the same problem with the Left Panel[quote=“Argyrios, post:5, topic:2301”]
