Unable to update the Aha Halo software

I tried multiple times to update the newest Aha Halo software today, MArch 17, 2026. I uninstalled the previous version (regretfully as I now have no version that works) and then tried to install the new one. It opens up briefly and then loses/crashes. I tried re-starting the computer, repeated the process several times, no success. Please, help! Thanks.

When I try to open the downloaded halo app on my computer it opens for 2secs and closes. All I can see is file and edit for 2 secs before it closes the program again

Dear, I understand the steps you have taken. Please ensure that the old version of the application is completely uninstalled, then download the latest installation package from the official website and reinstall it. Are you using Windows PC?

Yes and yes. I completely uninstalled and deleted the previous version.

I use Windows have a PC laptop

Dear @AhaHarmonyoffical, I have the same situation going on. My pc is updated to Windows 11 (unfortunately) and after deleting the software, I have installed the Halo software again. It’s not working in the same way as this post owner experiences. I connect to the software, I am in for 2 seconds and I get dropped out. No way to open it any other way.

I’m having a similar situation. I installed the latest software about a month ago.. worked fine until today. Tried opening now and get error message, click ok and program closes.

Uninstalled, deleted folder in C: program files, downloaded newest version and installed (2.0.0.313), but still getting same error, then closes. I’m curious if this is the same error others are getting >>

I am having the same issue; after installing the new version 2.0.0.0.313, it worked for a few weeks then stopped. It loads for a few seconds then closes. I have tried it on different PC and have the same issue there. All are running Windows 11 Pro. and one was a new install for the software. It auto closes whether I have the Halo connected or not.
After uninstalling and deleting all the old files.
I do not see an obvious Log file at least nothing with Log in the name can you please tell me the name of the Log file?

I have the same problem as vivanolite, KJ77 and David.Gori. I am on Windows 10.

I am also in the same situation as the other users. I tried to install software version 1.0.1.215 that I had archived on my PC, but that isn’t working either; the main window opens, but it doesn’t load any program and fails to recognize the connected Aha Halo.

Yes the exact same error for me, as you describe it. They are looking into it.
