I updated software to version 480, then tried to update the firmware. It looked like it was not working because the progress bar was not showing any progress. Now I cannot turn on the halo or charge it. I tried to do the paper clip reset but nothing happened.
I sent a feedback log via the app yesterday and have not heard back.
This is likely because the firmware update was interrupted or did not fully enter update mode. You can reply like this:
Hi, we’re sorry this happened.
Please try putting the Halo back into Firmware Update mode manually:
Make sure the Halo is disconnected from USB
Press and hold the Left and Up buttons together
While still holding both buttons, plug the USB cable into the Halo
Keep holding for a few seconds
If successful, “Firmware Update” should appear on the screen again. Then you can try the firmware update process again.
