New version is not working, older version gives this problem so perhaps it helps you

@ahaharmonyofficial @AhaSupportTeam When I mouse-hover over the DOWNLOAD button on the Aha Halo Software Download page it reads that it is still version .313…the “problem” version.

I installed the new .318 version and it does not crash, but has another problem. When I connect my aha-halo device, it updates the list of installed programs shown on the right, counting up as it scanned the device. Once it finishes scanning the device, the list of installed programs shown on the right changes to saying “halo not connected”.
Darn, there are still bugs. Different but I cannot connect the software to my aha-halo device.
Before completely giving up, I will try installing the .318 version on my Win11 on my laptop to see if it works better. I will post the results as a reply to this message.

OK. I installed .318 version on my Win11 laptop (run as admin). Prior to install, I used RevoUninstall to remove previous version(s).
After install, window opened as expected (good). It did also show me database update list. When I closed that panel and then plugged in aha-halo device via USB cable, it scanned the programs I have on my aha-halo. As it scanned, it counted up the programs in the panel on the right, from 0/30 to 29/30 and then immediately switched to saying “halo not connected”.
I still cannot update my aha-halo device because of this remaining bug. PLEASE FIX.
Regards and blessings, Dave Posh

Dear, could it be that the data cable is loose? Perhaps you could try switching to a different USB port. In the meantime, we will also conduct some tests on our end.

Dear, please send your operation logs to our support email: support@ahaharmony.com. Thank you very much for your support.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Dear, you can try switching the language and then restarting the app; that should serve as a temporary workaround for now. We are already in the process of fixing this issue.:face_holding_back_tears:

thank you! Microsoft is causing many problems globally, my program is working again yeay! Many thanks for fixing this really fast.
