I just logged in today and updated. the update told me all of the features above including adding 20 more slots to the Halo yet when I connected the Halo it still just shows 30. when I check for software updates it show me I am up to date. What went wrong and how do I fix it?
There is no issue and nothing to handle.
The software update was a preparation to handle the features of the new firmware which was announced to be released “shortly after”. Just stay patient and check firmware or forum from time to time. Pretty sure “shortly after” will mean somewhen this week when software update download numbers tell them the majority of users is prepared.
It was a breeze to update the software. I have had problems in the last couple of months with glitches whenever I connected my Aha Halo to my Mac. I am so glad that it has all been fixed! Thank you. I am looking forward to 50 programs. I have 2 Aha Halo and still find that I need access to other programs when the need arises.
I have two Aha-Halos; I succeeded in updating the first device to the newer software (480). Upon trying to do the same with the second device there’s no new software to be found it says. I am not sure if version 480 is active on that one. I want to go the new firmware and did this (see above) to prepare the devices for the newer firmware.
I have closed the Aha-halo software on my Mac a couple of times to see if there came another chance to update my second device to version 480 but to no avail.
Is this because the software regards me only having one device and doesn’t allow for a second one?
During a firmware update, using the reset function will usually not resolve the issue.
Please refer to the recovery steps at the bottom of the firmware update blog for situations where the firmware update becomes stuck. We hope that helps get your Halo working again.
Yes, the same computer can be used to update multiple Aha Halo devices.
Please try unplugging and reconnecting the Halo, then go to File → Check Firmware Update and see whether the software can detect a new firmware update for this particular device.
