Hi, I am really happy with my Aha Halo, am feeling general improvements and just find it wonderful being able to do something positive throughout the day.
My biggest difficulties are sleeping issues and I am still having them (1 week use). I am using CBD oil as well. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but as there are some really preocuppying things in my life, i guess it is no wonder.
It seems that the breathing light sometimes turns off and mostly it doesn’t. as I managed to turn it off today I will leave it like that. The screen sometimes turns off when I push the left button longer, sometimes not. I am wondering why this is.
I also have mixed feelings about the sleep. But I already have pretty bad insomnia. I think it helps my sleep better than not using it. Lately my body wants 3 hrs of sleep then stay away 3 hours then sleep 2 hours.
I should learn to adjust my life to this schedule .
The breathing light … Right button short press 2x then long press the up button.
I have a beta tester pre sale unit whose left button doesn’t do anything. So I can not advise on that issue.
Glad you are getting good results. Me too. Love the Halo!!!
Your sleeping pattern seems to be very challenging as well. It is so very wonderful being able to have a full, ressourceful night. But like you, it seems to get better with the AHA and maybe it just takes time to adjust and the programs might improve still, too.
It’s good to try the different programs inc all the sleep, relaxation, delta and theta waves. See if one works better or a combination … Change them thru the night as you wake up. It’s what I am currently doing.
Have you tried Chamomile for sleep? I have recommended it to quite a few people with positive results, and it’s a great companion to CBD. Freshly dried flowers if possible rather than tea bags.
Hi Suzi,
It seems that my sleeping pattern ressembles yours. It’s very exhausting. I am doing what you suggested but do not see improvement unfortunately. It’s seems to be my nervous system going wild.
Valerian is a muscle relaxant and will help you sleep, however you need to use it cautiously as it is a depressant. Valium was originally made from Valerian, hence the name. It’s also quite hard on the liver. For these reasons I prefer Chamomile.
I also have not found the sleep programs 1 and II to be helpful. I just downloaded Sleep III and hope it would help. I fall asleep very quickly but wake up after about 3 hours. I have run the Sleep I and then Sleep II when sleep I did not work and still have not found it helpful. I have also just downloaded: Delta Waves, Schumann Resonance, Relaxation II and hope these would help me when I am trying to get back to sleep.
