Windows Aha Halo Software still glitchy and can't fix? Here's an older installer that works (version 215)

And an other thing: after trying couple of time to install (unsuccessfully) the new version I accidentally clicked on “Skip this version” button and now the prompt to install the new version (265) does not appear anymore. After that I uninstalled and reinstalled the the software version 1.3.2 (261) downloaded from the ahaharmony.com and when I open it still the prompt to install the new version (265) did not popped up. Please help! Thank you, Nicolae Marinescu

  1. Ensure your Aha Halo device is connected to the internet.

  2. Restart your Aha Halo software as administrator.

  3. Press ‘‘Alt’’ + click ‘‘Software Update’’ in the left-hand menu.

This issue remains unresolved and is becomign impoossible - i have installed the 215 version as suggested at the top of this post and now I cannot even open the app. This is actually no worse than the latest software version which also will not open. So now I am left with a device loaded with 30 programs, cannot delete any or load any new ones. Come on AHA people ypu need to resolve this urgently…..

Do you have another PC you can install the software on? It could possibly be a PC issue.

Hi Robert - yes I do have another PC (HP laptop) but get the same result there as well. However I have a currently successful (but not ideal) workaround which is a variation of the initial one posted above.
I have fully deleted all apps and files related to the Halo (using Revo Uninstaller to find all related files that the standard uninstall does not remove) and found a VERY old version of the zipfile Setup_aha_halo_1.0.0.142.

I have installed from that and have not done any of the software updates that I get prompted with (I press Remind Me Later when prompted) and this works for now as long as I also follow the device connection procedure of

  1. turn off the aha device

  2. attach it to usb port

  3. turn on the aha device

  4. start the PC app

  5. press Remind me later for any software updates…

This seems ridiculous to have to deal with this. For $500 the device should be loaded and ready to use. I am beyond frustrated that I have to troubleshoot this.

also this version gives errors
