Just updated to aha halo 1.2.0 (1.2.0.236) and Halo is not seen by software

I’m on a Mac… Software does not see my Halo anymore?

Did you connect halo via a USB hub?
It sometimes can happen that a port is not seen anymore on a hub – I have this very rarely on my M1 Mac too. It usually helps to plug halo into a different port or connect it directly. Or if nothing helped, a restart cured to.

Thanks! I did have it in a usb hub, and plugging it straight into a usb on the computer did allow the software to see the device… Strange as it worked fine in the hub until now.

Yes. This is sadly an often seen issue especially on ARM Macs, although it usually can be mitigated quite easily. Sometimes my MacBook will not find the external monitor when connected to the dock that also powers it from this same monitor (which it notices), but the old unplug and replug trick fixes it anytime.
